Delivered and Read, done right
iMessage only labels your newest message. Mark it delivered and a quiet “Delivered” appears below it; mark it read and you get “Read” with the time. Group chats never show Read, so neither do we.
Tapbacks and inline replies
React with the classic tapback emojis that sit on the corner of a bubble, or reply to an earlier message so the quoted text appears above your answer.
Contact header and monograms
The centred header shows the contact's photo or the grey gradient monogram iPhone uses for people without a picture, plus an optional unread badge next to the back arrow.
Light, dark and big emoji
Dark mode turns the background black and incoming bubbles charcoal while yours stay blue. Send a lone emoji and it renders large and bubble-free, just like on an iPhone.
