Read, and Read with a count
LINE stacks “Read” above the time next to your bubble once it's been seen. In a group it shows how many people read it — MockupChat counts the other members for you.
Times beside the bubble
Unlike most apps, LINE puts the small timestamp outside the bubble, on its left for your messages and on its right for others. The layout follows that rule automatically.
Wallpaper and the dark theme
The default chat background is LINE's blue-grey. Change it to any colour or your own image, or switch to dark mode for the charcoal theme with the same green bubbles.
Unread badge and avatars
Add an unread count next to the back arrow in the header. Contacts get round profile photos, or LINE's white figure on a pale circle when they have none.

Yes. Messages accept any Unicode text, including Japanese, Thai and Chinese characters and emoji. The scene falls back to system fonts for scripts our main fonts don't cover.
In a group chat, mark your message as read and LINE's label shows the number of other members. In a direct chat it simply says Read.
