Fake Reddit Chat Generatorfor community stories
Reddit chat is where subreddit friendships move after a great comment thread. MockupChat recreates the Reddit chat screen — u/username in the header, colourful default avatars, the orange-red send button — so you can tell community stories, build explainers or storyboard narrated Reddit-style videos with conversations you wrote yourself.
Reddit is a Pro platform: edit and preview for free, export with Pro for $9.99/month. Updated .

u/ usernames in the header
A direct chat shows the other person as u/name, the way Reddit addresses users. Group chats show the group name you set instead.
Default avatar colours
Without a photo, each user gets an avatar on one of Reddit's bright default colours — blue, teal, yellow, orange, green or pink.
Feed-style messages
Like Reddit's app, messages are listed with avatar and name rather than in bubbles. Your own messages get a subtle blue highlight in light and dark mode.
Reactions and link previews
Add emoji reactions under a message and share posts or articles as link preview cards with title and image.

Use it responsibly
MockupChat makes mockups for content, ads, memes, storytelling, app demos and presentations. Don't pass a mockup off as a real conversation, put words in the mouth of a real person or customer, or use it to mislead anyone. Where a screenshot could be taken for real, label it as an illustration. The details are in our Terms.
